Python Developer (Fresher) - NPTEL, IIT Madras (Chennai)
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Junior Python Developer to join our growing team. As a Junior Python Developer, you will collaborate with a team of developers and engineers to design, develop, test, and implement new features and enhancements to our software products.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Design and implement new features and functionality
- Work closely with other team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and debug issues
- Perform code reviews
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Solid understanding of Python programming language
- Familiarity with one or more Python frameworks (such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus
- Good understanding of databases and SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects on GitHub
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 15,000 - 25,000 per month
Location Type: In-person (Chennai, Tamil Nadu)
